Phoenix is one of the easiest metros in the country to homeschool in. Museums, gardens, preserves, and studios are quiet on weekday mornings, and many of them run homeschool days or weekday group rates. These are the kinds of places families on Assembly meet.

Park days and meetups

Most Phoenix homeschool groups anchor the week with a standing park day. Shaded ramadas and splash pads make Kiwanis Park in Tempe, Riverview in Mesa, Freestone in Gilbert, and the Scottsdale greenbelt parks the usual picks. A host makes the event once and reuses it each week.

Classes and co-ops
