Is Assembly free?
Free for families and free for hosts. No subscription, ever. Events can be free or paid: for paid events, the family registering pays the price of their spot plus a small payment & platform fee. Hosts pay nothing.
What do I need to RSVP to an event?
Just your invitation link and a minute to sign up. Creating an account is quick and easy, and registering, including payment for paid events, takes only a few clicks in any browser. Once you're in, you also get reminders, event chat, and events near you.
How are payments handled? Is my card safe?
All payments run through Stripe, the same processor used by millions of businesses. Assembly never sees or stores your card details.
What platforms does Assembly support?
Assembly runs in your browser at app.theassemblyapp.com. iOS and Android apps are coming soon.
How do I delete my account or my data?
Email us at support@theassemblyapp.com and we'll take care of it promptly.
Is Assembly only for homeschoolers?
It's built for homeschool families, groups, and co-ops first. That shapes every feature. But any community that gathers is welcome: church groups, neighborhood clubs, and the partners who host for families, like museums, performing arts, outdoor ed programs, and studios.
